The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive examination for:

• MTS Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Group 'C' Non-Gazetted posts in various Ministries/Departments across India.
• Havaldar Havaldar (CBIC & CBN): Group 'C' posts in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN).

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2025):

• MTS 18-25 years
• Havaldar 18-27 years

Age Relaxation:

Ex-Servicemen	3 years after military service deduction

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent from a recognized board.

Examination Scheme

The recruitment includes a Computer Based Examination (CBE) for both posts, with additional Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Havaldar.

Computer Based Examination (CBE):

Session-I (45 Minutes)

Numerical and Mathematical Ability 20 Questions / 60 Marks

Reasoning Ability 20 Questions / 60 Marks

Session-II (45 Minutes)

General Awareness 25 Questions / 75 Marks

English Language 25 Questions / 75 Marks

Key Points:

• No negative marking in Session-I
• 0.5 negative marking per wrong answer in Session-II
• Minimum qualifying marks: UR-30%, OBC/EWS-25%, Others-20%
• Session-II performance determines merit
